1. Lesson ceased on Thursday, 16/11/2017 & Saturday, 18/11/2017.
2. Lesson as usual on Monday, 20/11/2017 until Wednesday, 22/11/2017.
3. Classes of K3 will be cancelled from Thursday, 23/11/2017 to Thursday, 30/11/2017.
4. The “Parents’ Day” for K1 and K2 will be held on Thursday, 23/11/2017, from 7:30 am to
12 noon (Morning and Afternoon Session). All parents and guardians are cordially invited to collect your Child’s Progress Report from the respective class teachers. This will give you an opportunity to meet the class teacher to further discuss and improve your child’s performance in our kindergarten.
5. All classes of K1 and K2 will be cancelled from Saturday, 25/11/2017 to Thursday, 30/11/2017.
6. The fourth term school holidays will start from Friday, 1/12/2017 to Sunday, 31/12/2017.
7. The new school term for Year 2018 will start on Tuesday, 2/1/2018.
Notice: Kindergarden 55th Graduation Ceremony

In view of this, on these four days i.e: 06/11, 07/11, 08/11 & 09/11, K 3 students will be having their rehearsals. The K 3 morning and afternoon classes will be combined for these rehearsal days. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

2. Classes will resume on Saturday, 11/11/2017.
Minister of Communications awards champion trophy and cash to CHMS, BSB students
Posted by: admin | Posted on: November 2, 2017The Minister of Communications, Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat awarded the champion trophy and a cash prize to Livia Leong Hui Teng, a Year9 Science1 student of Chung Hwa Middle School, Bandar Seri Begawan, for being the National level champion during the recently concluded 2017 International Letter-Writing Competition for Young People in conjunction with the celebration of the Postal Day. The event was conducted on 28 October 2017 at the Ministry of Communications (MinCom).
Chung Hwa Middle School BSB Wins Big in the Oratory Competition in Malay Language for non-Malay students

Organised by the Tiong Hwa Community, the final of the competition was held on 25 October 2017 at Darussalam Hall, Chung Hwa Middle School, BSB. Gracing the event as the guest of honour was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, the Minister of Education. Other dignitaries who attended the event were Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh King Chin, the officials from the Ministry of Education, renowned Tiong Hwa leaders, teachers and students.
CHMS students achieve outstanding results in ICAS Science

Those students whose achievement was outstanding were rewarded with Certificates of Credit, Distinction and High Distinction.
CHMS Holds Motivational Talk for Primary 6 Students

CHMS, BSB achieves 7 Gold Medals for their Academic Performance in ICAS- ENGLISH THIS YEAR

The Concepts of MIB Oratory Competition Finalists for the Final Round of the Competition

In conjunction with the celebration of the Golden Jubilee of His Majesty the Sultan Dan Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s Accession to the throne, the committee of the Chinese Community, Brunei Darussalam organised an oratory competition in Malay Language for non-Malay students to take part. The preliminary round successfully ended on the 7th of October 2017.
